WATERGENICS Inc. is a Canadian-based private company with its headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia that holds the exclusive worldwide license to the patent-pending Hybrid Atmospheric Water Generator (HAWGen). The HAWGen Technology was invented in the Laboratory of Alternative Energy Conversions (LAEC) at Simon Fraser University (SFU) Surrey, British Columbia campus by Professor Majid Bahrami and Farshid Bagheri, two of the co-founders of WATERGENICS Inc. SFU holds the title and all claims to the HAWGen technology and has transferred exclusive worldwide license WATERGENICS Inc. for the commercial development and application of the Intellectual Property (IP). Collectively, WATERGENICS Inc. and SFU are committed to collaborating with each other through the SFU Innovations Office to realize the full commercial potential of the HAWGen.
